国立競技場と明治公園に隣接したカフェ。
限られたスペースを逆手にとり、隣の公園とつながり、広がりを感じられるような内装を考えた。
狭いスペースをさらにいじめるように、木立を連想させる柱棚を林立させることで、隣席との距離感や視線をコントロールし、高密度ながらもゲストがそれぞれ自分の居場所を確保できる空間づくりを目指した。
木立の柱棚はデスクやベンチを受ける構造となり、素材選定に際してはツヤ、質感など、肌理を注意深く割り当てることで、木漏れ日に満ちた林のなかを散策するような体験をつくった。

The café is located beside the Japan National Stadium and Meiji Park.
In this limited space, what we think is how to make the interior space feel spacious beside the park. By creating pillar shelves connected with woods image, our goal is to redesign this narrow space to make sure everyone has their own space. The wooden structure of pillar shelves is also used for supporting the table and bench. By choosing the texture, color, luster, quality of the material, we created an experience like walking under the sunlight filtering through the trees.
